Seven day tour in Sri Lanka

Day 1

Starting the tour after breakfast from Colombo to Pinnawala (Elephant Orphanage) via drive Dambulla, Sigiriya.

First night stay is at Dambulla (Sinhalese: දඹුල්ල Dam̆bulla, Tamil: தம்புள்ளை Tampuḷḷai) is a large city, situated in the Matale District, Central Province of Sri Lanka, situated 148 km (92 mi) north-east of Colombo and 72 km (45 mi) north of Kandy. Due to its location at a major junction, it’s the centre of vegetable distribution in the country.
Major attractions of the area include the largest and best preserved cave temple complex of Sri Lanka, and the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, famous for being built in just 167 days. The area also boasts the largest rose quartz mountain range in South Asia, and the Iron wood forest, or Na Uyana Aranya.

Day 2

After breakfast Anuradhapura.The 2000 years old city and the capital of Sri Lanka. Then on to Trincomalee.

Day 3

After breakfast proceed to Polonnaruwa the second capital of Sir Lanka in the 11 and 12″ centuries AD.

Here we find splendid statues of lord Buddha in the upright recumbent and Sedentary posture carved out of a single rock. Also in Polonnaruwa we see the remains of the 7 storied place.

Over night is in Poḷonnaruwa (Sinhalese: පොලොන්නරුව, Poḷonnaruwa or PuḷattipuraTamil: பொலன்னறுவை, Polaṉṉaṟuvai or Puḷatti nakaram) is the main town of Polonnaruwa District in North Central Province, Sri Lanka. Kaduruwela area is the Polonnaruwa New Town and the other part of Polonnaruwa remains as the royal ancient city of the Kingdom of Polonnaruwa.

The second most ancient of Sri Lanka‘s kingdoms, Polonnaruwa was first declared the capital city by King Vijayabahu I, who defeated Chola invaders in 1070 to reunite the country once more under a local leader.

The Ancient City of Polonnaruwa has been declared a World Heritage Site.[2]

Currently the new Polonnaruwa is undergoing a major development project known as the “Awakening of Polonnaruwa” under the concept of President Maithripala Sirisena. It envisions the development of all sectors in Polonnaruwa including roadselectricityagricultureeducationhealth and environment will be developed comprehensively.

Day 4

After the Breakfast on to Kandy the journey will takes us through some of Sri Lanka’s most beautiful seen locations. There you can see many rice fields, spice garden.

Tea in the afternoon tour the city of Kandy Temple of the tooth, late evening view a Kandyen folklore dance performance.

Day 5

After breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya to enjoy the delights of the famous water falls.

Enjoy the drive through green landscapes of tea plantations.

Sri Lanka Waterfalls

Nuwara Eliya (Sinhaleseනුවර එළිය [nuwərə ɛlijə]Tamilநுவரேலியா) is a city in the hill country of the Central Province, Sri Lanka. Its name means “city on the plain (table land)” or “city of light”. The city is the administrative capital of Nuwara Eliya District, with a picturesque landscape and temperate climate. It is at an altitude of 1,868 m (6,128 ft) and is considered to be the most important location for tea production in Sri Lanka. The city is overlooked by Pidurutalagala, the tallest mountain in Sri Lanka. Nuwara Eliya is known for its temperate, cool climate — the coolest area in Sri Lanka.

Day 6

Early morning drive to Horton Plains and the World’s End and this amazing natural landscape.

Overnight in Bandarawela via Ella Ravana falls.

Day 7

After breakfast we take you back to Colombo or Galle.
